Clear Aligners

Why clear aligners?

  • Comfortable: Compared to traditional wires and brackets, clear aligners are comfortable.
  • Removable: It’s easy to remove aligners so you can eat and drink whatever you like and there are also no wires to trap food. The absence of wires also means you can brush and floss your teeth as normal.
  • Discreet: Clear aligners show off your smile, so most people won’t even notice you’re wearing them.

If you’re not completely happy with your smile, but aren’t a big fan of traditional metal braces, clear aligners might be just the thing for you. Straighter teeth don’t just look better; they work better too. Poorly-aligned teeth can interfere with bite function, can wear out faster, and are more prone to cavities. And once you’ve got a smile you love, you may just find you can’t help but show it off.

How it works: your clear aligner experience

1. Book a consultation: Book an appointment with one of our dentists to discuss the best options for you.
2. Get evaluated:The dentist will then take photos and a 3D intra-oral scan of your teeth. No impressions, no mess! A prescription will then be made up with your tooth measurements & movements, and aligners will be made.
3. Wear your aligners: You need to wear your aligners all the time unless you are eating or drinking anything other than water. We also advice regular check-ins with your dentist as you progress through treatment.

Ceramic Braces

While clear removable aligners are an attractive option for image-conscious adults, they’re not suitable for use in all cases. For example, you may not find clear aligners suitable if you have large gaps between your teeth or if you would require the removal of teeth as part of your treatment. Ceramic braces, on the other hand, are capable of performing the same complex tooth movements as traditional metal braces – the only difference being their materials. They are much less visible!

Metal Braces

Simple and affordable orthodontic cases like the one below have been performed by our dentists for years with traditional braces, and can take as
little as 3-6 months to complete. This is thanks to the latest advances in technology that we have to offer. Book now and speak to one of our friendly dentists about how you can get great results, fast!
